PCCF SERVICES PRICE INFORMATION

PRICES ARE UPDATED PERIODICALLY TO REFLECT USD/CAD EXCHANGE RATIO

Prices listed are for University of Saskatchewan users. Researchers from outside of the university are charged additional 10% of the final invoice value.
REQUEST MADE BY INDUSTRTY USERS ARE PRICED AT 5X REGULAR USERS FEE. PLEASE CONTACT BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE.
Required experiments can be performed by PCCF personel at rate $50.00 per hour of work performed, depending on time availability. Please contact in advance.
Booking of the equipment has to be done at least 1 day in advance.
All equipment used and area around it must be left in orderly fashion after experiment is done or at the end of the day. Please plan accordingly to have time to clean after experiments. Water to water titrations are requiered for ITC and are part of the booking and experiments.
ITC reaction and reference cells must be cleaned after experiments and water-to-water titration performed to check heat baseline. If necessary (base line is not satisfactory) repeat cleaning and perform water-to-water titration again. There will be $40.00 charge if PCCF personel has to clean after users and retraining of user will be necessary before next scheduled time

CIRCULAR DICHROISM (CD)

$10.00 per use (up to one day)
$0.20 / well in 384-well plate
$100.00 if plate is purchased
DLS can be used to screen salts and buffers for solubility using designed kit: $10.00
filters and sample filtering if necessary are $20.00 each

$50.00 price includes 96-well RT-PCR plate (white or clear) with seal and sypro ORANGE for DSF
$30.00 price includes 8-well white RT-PCR 8-tube strips with sypro ORANGE for DSF
$40.00 fee is for RT-PCR 96-well if using CFX Connect for RT-PCR (user have to supply probes etc.)

MALS detectors have to be callibrated/aligned before use with high purity BSA standard-cost $20.00
It is expected that buffers will be filtered (0.2 um) and vacuum degassed, and delivered one day before for column and system eqilibration. Buffers can be ordered at the facility- cost $25.00 to make standard buffer with filtering and degassing.

It is possible to use PCCF work bench to run supplied pre-cast Bio-Rad SDS-PAGE gels : each gel $20.00 (PCCF supplies running buffers, protein ladder, sample loading solution)

$100.00 price includes gels, markers, membranes, anti-HIS Ab, blocking buffers, ECL substrate
Please contact in advance, Bio-Rad imager should be booked for stain-free gels and ECL
If using own SDS-PAGE gels, blocking and antibodies: iBlot2 transfer membranes price is $35.00

$20.00 for daily use of bench and consumables (tips, tubes, dispensible pipettes etc.)
gels are additional fee: $20.00 per Bio-Rad gels and $8.00 of made PCCF gels (request specific gel concentration in advance)

$30.00 for pipette internal and external decontamination, lubricating, calibration with water
If parts are needed to fix the pipette it will be charged additionally.
Not all pipettes can be fixed in the lab. Suggestion will be made if it is worth sending to manufacturer for fixing.
